You will love this low calorie Peanut Butter Banana Spinach Smoothie! It packed with spinach, filling protein and peanut butter flavor without tons of calories! Whip one up today for an easy snack or lunch!
- 1 cup plain organic soymilk
- 1 large frozen banana, cut in ½ inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons PB2
- large handful of fresh spinach (and I do mean large)
- Place all ingredients in a blender, Vitamix, Magic Bullet or Nutribullet. I use a Nutribullet because it processes it finer and it’s already in a cup to go!
If you don’t have, or can’t find, PB2, you can substitute 2 tablespoons of natural creamy peanut butter but it will add 165 calories and 2 grams of protein.
You can further slash the calories by using unsweetened almond milk, but you will also forgo some of that filling protein. Your call!
