In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and cream cheese.Slowly add powdered sugar, and vanilla, until light and smooth.
Switch to the whisk attachment.
Add heavy cream, and whisk on high until light and fluffy and white. For an even thicker frosting, omit the heavy cream.
