Lindsey Farr Olsen is a classically trained pastry chef, recipe developer, and food photographer based in Queens, New York. She writes the recipe sites Chef Lindsey Farr and Girl Versus Dough, and teaches live baking sessions through her membership community, Kitchen Confidence Live.
She earned degrees in Mathematics and French from Wake Forest University before training at The International Culinary Center, completing the Professional Pastry Arts program in 2015 and the Professional Bread Baking program in 2018. She spent more than a decade in Manhattan kitchens, most recently as Executive Pastry Chef at Restaurant Marc Forgione, and co-founded Les Filles Bakery.
She was nominated for a StarChefs Rising Star award in 2019 and has competed on Food Network’s Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay. She publishes under her maiden name, Lindsey Farr.
