If you haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying a Pimms Cup on a hot day, or any day for that matter, you haven’t lived. There is no way to describe the flavor. It has all the refreshing qualities of lemonade and cucumber infused water with an adult twist.
You know what the best part is? Each Pimms Cup is only 80 calories! Yup. Wedding Fairy approved!
- 1oz Pimm’s No 1
- 1 inch cucumber, sliced thin [my fiancé prefers the cucumber peeled & not the English variety]
- Juice from ½ extra large lemon or 1 small lemon
- 3.75 oz ginger ale [half of one of those tiny cans]
- Ice
- In a 14 oz glass combine all ingredients. Stir to mix. Enjoy.
I really want to try some fresh mint in my next one. What’s your favorite summer drink?
If you want to learn how to make those adorable lemon twist garnishes, visit here. This bartender has an excellent tutorial. Instead of an ice pick I used the little knife on a bottle opener. Super easy.

July 30, 2013 at 7:45 pmOhh…I can just imagine how refreshing this would taste. I LOVE cucumbers. I like it peeled too lol. I, personally never really like the skin on. This drink sounds amazing. I can sure use one right now.
I don’t have one fav summer drink, but I’m always down for almost anything with strawberries, peach, or pineapples. I love fruity cocktails!

July 30, 2013 at 8:09 pmI love fruity cocktails too! Peach or Mango martini? Sign me up!
It was slightly better peeled but it always seems like such a shame to get rid of the dark green part.
