These Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft and thick just like your favorite chewy chocolate chip cookie but packed with peanut butter flavor.
Day 7 in my annual 12 Days of Christmas Cookies!

I know this is my second chocolate chip cookie recipe in this year’s 12 Day Cookie Marathon, but this one has peanut butter.
Hello, peanut butter!

In real life when I get stressed, I bake chocolate chip cookies.
Not just a little stressed but dealing with a new job, a divorce, moving, selling a condo and a car in a different city kind of stressed. The kind of stress that not even a run or yoga can fix.
Chocolate chip cookies totally can. They’re magic like that.

Just look at the stacks of magic!
Usually I bake my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe because the repetition is meditative, but sometimes I deviate to address a particular craving.
{Cough, cough} Peanut butter.

But seriously, these cookies? HUGE success. GIGANTIC.
Think mass crowd approval.
You know what I love about these cookies other than the chewy texture, peanut butter chocolate flavor magic, and the hint of cinnamon? The fact that you don't need to chill the dough. Read: instant gratification.
I even scaled the recipe for you in grams so that you can have these cookies in your oven in under 10 minutes!
Pour yourself a tall glass of ice cold milk, grab a handful of cookies and prepare to be wowed.
Sidebar: If you see me baking chocolate chip cookies on the regular, I need a hug. A big one. Thank you. xoxo

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Whisk together the flour, cake flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; set aside.
- Combine butter, peanut butter granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each addition; add vanilla with the last egg.
- Slowly add flour mixture until just combined (5-7 additions); then stir in chocolate.
- Make large balls of dough (about 1 ½ inches in diameter) or you can use a 2 inch cookie scool and roll them into balls.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until the outsides have browned but the centers still look soft. Cool for 10 minutes on the cookie sheet and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

These butter chip cookies looks really rich, and it contains my favourite flavour - peanut butter! 15 mins isn't too long to oven for me to try these out.
Aww I was wondering, I'm so sorry about ALL of the stress you're dealing with. But girl, you are amazing and like a phoenix-you're coming out of this even better and stronger and awesom-er. And these cookies would definitely be a comfort to anyone-both the baking and the eating <3
Aww thanks for the encouragement girly! It's definitely been a wild ride around here! But totally worth it! xooxox
Sending you a big huge virtual hug. my friend! You sure have a ton on your plate - am hoping your condo sells quick -or has already sold- as the housing market is picking up like crazy here in the Atl these days - a sellers paradise, but a buyers nightmare - but still, places are going like hot cakes, the house next door sold in 4 days! 4 DAYS!!!
Just like those houses, that GORGEOUS stack there would disappear if they were in front of me! Loving the subtle hint of cinnamon in these - they truly look magical indeed!
