We made it!
12 whole days of Christmas Cookies!
I tried to balance new with old family favorites; easy with more complicated; and traditional with more modern creations.
The hardest thing about the past 12 days was narrowing down the Christmas cookies to bake: I have dozens of cookbooks and some are even devoted to Christmas Cookies. Not to mention this little thing called the internet…cookies everywhere!
My list is ever-growing and I can’t wait for next year! Maybe we’ll even make it a month!
#justkidding
I can’t handle it!
By the time this posts I’ll be en route to New Zealand with my husband and family. It’s been nine years since I visited and I can’t wait to go back again to see if it is even half as beautiful and lush as it is in my memory.
And this time I have a real camera!
So prepare yourselves for the onslaught of New Zealand pictures on social media and probably AHC! #sorryimnotsorry
In case you missed any of this year’s 12 days of Christmas cookies, I have rounded them all up for you in one convenient place below!
I’ve also labeled them as easy if applicable, because I know Christmas is in 4 days and you’ve got other things to do!
No Bake Gingersnap Brandy Balls {Easy}
Grandma’s Molasses Sugar Cookies
Holiday Bark {Easy}
Cherry Pecan Cookies {Easy}
Peanut Butter Blossoms {Easy}
Grandma’s Old Fashioned Soft Sugar Cookies
Old Fashioned Gingersnaps {Easy}
Old Fashioned Lace Oat Cookies
Here’s a bonus for you…
Mom’s Impossibly soft and chewy gingerbread boys!
And if that weren’t enough, you could always peruse the second annual 12 Days of Christmas Cookies!

December 22, 2014 at 9:02 amWe made it, Lindsey! With your baking prowess and my moral support, we made it. You know how runner’s talk about the “runner’s high”? Well, I am currently operating on a “AHC Cookie high”…and I suspect it’s way better than any runner’s high. We just won’t talk about what happens when I come down off of that high…in fact, let’s just keep making more cookies instead! Tomorrow! I’m looking forward to seeing another one tomorrow…don’t let me down, please. 🙂

December 25, 2014 at 6:18 pmYour comments are raising my blood pressure, David! There will be no more cookies for several months…I’ve put my foot down. When are you going to post the kitchen sink cookies you sent me…I want more and I think those would be worth breaking my mini temper tantrum above for.
